Radio Show announced today that Dave Foster, Executive Director of Rail Solution will appear on the show February 17, 2009 at 7:00 PM to answer questions about the proposal to build a 21st Century rail “steel interstate” from Knoxville, TN to Harrisburg, PA. The town of Edinburg recently joined the scores of towns and counties up and down the Route 81 corridor who endorsed the resolution that will be sent to Congress for action. The Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors is to vote on the endorsement later this month. “We’re enormously pleased to welcome Dave on the show,” said co-host Jeanne Russell. “Many people don’t know about this proposal and its’ potential to save our community from the hazards of widening Route 81. Dave Foster has worked on these issues for the last several years and he really knows his stuff. Anyone concerned about traffic and pollution in the Route 81 corridor should listen to the show.” The Just Say It! Radio Show has been broadcasting in the Shenandoah Valley since September 2006. Co-hosts Suzanne Holt, Barbara Plitt and Jeanne Russell talk about events affecting valley residents and the world. The show airs Tuesday evenings at 7 PM on WSVG 790 AM and is available on-line at www.justsayitradioshow.com. Tuesday’s show will pre-recorded so there are no call-ins.
